Chojrak to zabawny, różowy, gadający do kamery pies. Mieszka on na farmie Muriel i Eustachego Motyki w miasteczku Nigdzie. Muriel bardzo troszczy sie o psa, podczas gdy Eustachy najchętniej by się go pozbył. Mimo, że Chojrak jest niesamowicie tchórzliwy, jest jednocześnie sprytnym zwierzęciem i dlatego skutecznie broni domu przed ciągłymi atakami różnych potworów, straszydeł, kosmitów i duchów. Pokonuje ich dzięki sprytowi, szczęściu, poradom komputera i mimo wszystko zimnej krwi, którą zachowuje w trudnych sytuacjach. Chojrak przeszedł do historii kinematografii, jako najlepiej krzyczący ze strachu pies.
